Year 5 have had a lovely week. In English, we have been planning and researching ready to write our non-chronological reports. The children have each selected an endangered or critically endangered animal to base their own independent writing on. They have been researching appearance, diet, habitat and other interesting facts about their animal and have been categorising the information they have found into the appropriate sections. Last Friday, the first of our trips to Acklam Grange took place. The children had a fabulous time playing football against other schools and were so lucky with the weather! This week our next group of children have been back to Acklam Grange to take part in some Physical Computing. In Maths, the children have been converting units of measure. They have worked so hard and are now able to find fractions of amounts too! Some of our children have also taken part in the Quad Kids athletics! Well done, Year 5!
