What a fantastic week we have had in year 4. In our topic work we have been learning all about Edmund Hillary and Tenzing Torgay and creating fact-files on the two. We have also been looking at the jobs of Sherpas on Mount Everest and how perilous their job is.

In our Maths work this week we have been consolidating our learning on time and also looking at Fractions and Long Multiplication in more detail.

As part of our next writing project, we are looking at diary entries and the features included in preparation for our own diary entry.

In computing, as part of our photography unit, we have been editing and adding effects to photographs we have taken in class. Some of the results are superb (even if they are a little scary)!
