Maths
This week in Maths, we focused on ordering numbers. We used the dienes and completed lots of ordering numbers activities- from ordering numbers from the smallest to greatest, to ordering numbers from the greatest to the smallest.
English
We continued our focus book ‘Cave Baby’ and wrote some super sentences based on what we could see. We worked really hard and are focusing on using our Fred sounds.
Topic
We went on a trip to Preston Park and participated in a toy workshop and then made our own toy. We noticed a pattern about old and new toys- old toys were typically made of wood and new toys are typically made of plastic. We then went on a woodland walk and talked about our senses- we thought about what we could see, hear, smell, touch and taste. Everybody was so well behaved!
