We continued our topic ‘Moon Zoom’ and learned about what astronauts need to survive in space. We had a very special visit from two famous astronauts and they explained what they needed when they went to the moon.

Our focus story of the week was ‘Beegu’. We all turned into Beegu and thought about how we were feeling in each part of the story. Then, we wrote two sentences using ‘I feel’ and ‘because’ to explain how we were feeling and why. On Thursday we focused on strengthening our vocabulary, using synonyms. We explored a large variety of words and grouped them based on their meaning.

In Maths this week, we continued being number detectives and used mental strategies to find a missing number. We worked really hard.

Well done Year One for working so hard this week! Have a lovely weekend.
