The year 6 children of Corpus Christi are taking part in a local competition called trailblazers to encourage young entrepreneurs.

“To whom it may concern

Hello I am a Year 6 pupil at Corpus Christi Primary School on Cargo Fleet Lane, Middlesbrough.  We are currently taking part in a competition called Trailblazers. The aim of the competition is to encourage young entrepreneurs. We were required to think of a business idea, set up the business, run it and then at the end of June present a “Dragon’s Den” style pitch to a panel of judges.

We have come up with the idea of recycling football boots.  As you will probably know discarded shoes account for over 32% of all landfill which has a detrimental effect on the environment, pollution and global warming.

We have made an appeal for used football boots and have cleaned and prepared them ready for resale.  We would really appreciate your support.

Thank You

Pupils of Year 6″

Corpus Christi will be using their Eco-Shop to sell the boots on. At Kader we are always looking to find ways to help the environment such as reducing landfill waste through the Eco-Shop and we feel that supporting Corpus Christi in this is a great idea. If anyone has any unwanted children’s football boots you can donate them to our school office

Many Thanks
