Happy Holidays From Kader

Dear Parents,

I would like to take this opportunity to say a huge thank you on behalf of all the staff and Governors at Kader for your lovely children and your continued support over the Autumn Term.

The Teesside Hospice Rudolph Run was a huge success .Thank you for your amazing generosity of £4609 which will make a big difference to so many families. The Kader Cake off was such fun, and along with the proceeds from our Christmas Productions we raised £1458 which will go towards our M.U.G.A . A big thank you must go to Fareena Sarwar who made and sold treats after all of the productions. She has big plans for the summer and is looking to recruit some helpers. If there are any parents who are yet to realise their cooking talents please do not hesitate to contact her.

The Christmas productions were as amazing as ever and the children thoroughly enjoyed showcasing their talents to packed audiences. Mr Trow, our music teacher is so passionate about the Creative Arts that he has very generously awarded two scholarships for two Year 6 pupils, which he will personally fund to allow these two pupils to have private lessons once a week in school.

The children’s generosity towards the Food Bank continues to amaze us and the school council personally delivered our Christmas collection and helped the volunteers with their sorting. The staff followed the children’s example and donated a toy each rather than a gift to one another. You will be able to see all the photographs on our website.

The Christmas Raffle was drawn on Friday and congratulations to all our winners.

In the case of extreme weather in January I will post any closures on the website and try to give you advance notice if possible.

All it leaves for me is to wish you and your families a peaceful and happy holidays and we look forward to seeing your child back to school, in the New Year on, Monday 6th January.

Kind Regards

Alison Mitchinson

Acting Principal
