Year 6 Trip to Hartlepool Power Station

Wednesday 5th February 2020

Dear Parents/Guardian,

Y6S Trip to Hartlepool Power Station

Y6B – Friday 20th March 2020

Y6S – Monday 23rd March 2020

As part of our Science learning for this half term, we have arranged a visit to Hartlepool Power Station. The children will take part in a workshop in the visitor’s centre, alongside a visit to the Power Centre itself.

Mrs Burton’s class will be going on Friday 20th March and Mrs Stockwell’s Class will be going on Monday 23rd March.

The coach will leave at 9.10am and we expect to return to school for approximately 3.05pm.

All children must be wearing school uniform for the visit and the power centre have requested that all children are wearing socks/tights.

Although the school is subsidising the cost of the trip, it is still necessary to ask parents for £6.00 to help cover all the costs. Please make your payment online at

Children will be required to bring their own packed lunch and a drink.

Please go to the school website and complete the online consent below by Friday 28th February 2020.

Yours sincerely,

Mrs Emms
