Dear Parents/Guardians,

Key Stage One Street Dance Workshop

Friday 10th January 2020 – Friday 27th March 2020 (11 weeks excluding half term)

Street Dance Workshops will continue to be ran by Tom Burke Academy (TBA). The children who have been attending so far have thoroughly enjoyed these sessions and developed their dance skills. Key stage two street dance sessions were clashing with Friday Football during the Autumn term; therefore, we have changed the session day for the spring term in order to allow those children from key stage two the opportunity to attend both clubs.

Street Dance Workshops will take place after school every Friday from 3.15pm – 4.15pm for 11 weeks. The workshops will take place at Kader Academy and will begin on Friday 10th January 2020 – Friday 27th March 2020 (11 weeks excluding half term). As this is a long block of Street Dance sessions there will be a couple of performances. Adam, the Street Dance Teacher, will notify you when these performances will be taking place.

The cost will be £3.00 per session with a total amount of £33.00 due for all 11 sessions.  All monies are to be paid directly to TBA. Sessions can be paid for on a week by week basis or in full at the beginning of the block.

Places are limited to 30 pupils and will be provided on a first come first serve basis, to reserve your child’s place please register your consent below. If your child has been allocated a place, you will receive a text message from the Smart School App. Please note if you are unsuccessful you will not receive a text message.

Once your child has been given a place for the Street Dance Workshop, you will be provided with a consent and emergency contact details form by TBA which MUST be filled in before your child attends their first session.

When collecting your child, in order to keep them safe, please can they be collected from the school entrance to ensure they are not walking through the car park.

Yours sincerely,

Miss H. Arceri

Extended Schools co-ordinator.
