Easter Closed, but opening as necessary
School will be closed over the Easter Holidays, as our key worker children do not require us to stay open. However, I must stress that if any key worker finds that their situation changes please contact either Mrs Donald or myself on firstname.lastname@example.org and we will open the school to accommodate your child /children. We will be checking this account on a daily basis and will be giving all our key workers a call to plan a timetable for those children coming into school going forward, as we have already been doing. If your situation changes and you are now classed as a key worker and need this facility please do not hesitate to get in touch.
These are unprecedented times and we must all pull together. For the 2 weeks over Easter and the 2 weeks following Easter, if you qualify for Free school meals (FSM) you will be sent, via email, a voucher code to redeem at Tesco’s. We will then continue to send out a code for each week until this crisis lessens, as like you, we are taking one day at a time and acting upon both Government and Local Authority advice. If you were not entitled to a FSM but think your circumstances have changed please apply (details on our school website) and we will try to help as quickly as we can.
After the Easter holidays, can I ask that all key workers children, if attending school, bring with them a packed lunch to reduce the amount of adults leaving home as much as possible, including cook.
The staff at Kader will be posting regular updates of schoolwork ideas to try to give children and yourselves some sort of structure to each day. Just do your best, but most of all keep safe.
Wishing you and your families all the best over the holidays and assure you that we are just on the end of the phone /email/ if you need us.
Mrs A. Mitchinson
