Dear Parents/Carers,

Christmas at Kader

Christmas Performances

As a reminder, below are the dates and times for out Christmas Performances.

[table id=10 /]

As a School we are trying to raise money to build a Multi-Use Games Area (M.U.G.A) which will be a great addition to the school. After each performance we will be serving refreshments and selling festive treats, the proceeds of which will go towards the MUGA pitch. Fareena Sarwar (one of our parents in year 4) has kindly offered to provide some light snacks and is looking for some volunteers to help, if you would be interested in helping her please contact the school office for her number.

We will also be selling tickets for a raffle. With this in mind it would be great if you or someone connected to you (perhaps with links to a local business) could donate any suitable raffle prizes, for example vouchers for a restaurant or electronic goods. If you are able to donate anything towards making our raffle a success please contact the school office.

At Kader we teach children the importance of punctuality, so may we politely request that parents/audience members arrive before the time shown above. The doors will be open 30 minutes before the show is due to start. Unfortunately we have found that in previous years people arriving late for the show have caused a huge disruption both to the audience and the children performing, we will therefore not be allowing anyone in once it has started. We welcome young children but insist that if they start to disrupt the performance they are taken out.

Kader Bake Off

Along with the School Council, Fareena will also be helping to organise the Kader Bake Off. We would like to ask if families could bake a cake and bring them into school on Monday 9th December, clearly labelled. The cakes will be then judged by the school council and a winner will be chosen (prize TBC). Slices of the delicious bakes will be sold after the Christmas performances.

Christmas Jumpers

On Tuesday 17th December we will be having our Christmas Lunch, Children are welcome to wear a Christmas Jumper on this day.

Polling Day

Just to remind you all that Kader Nursery will be used as a polling station for the upcoming General Election on Thursday 12th December. Only Nursery will be closed for the day, but please be mindful that there will be an increase in visitors to Kader that day.

We look forward to welcoming you to Christmas at Kader.

Yours Sincerely

Mrs A. Mitchinson

Acting Principal
